6. Rowdy Roddy Piper
One of the originators of what it meant to have a personality, Rowdy Roddy Piper stood tall in a crowd full of old school wrestlers. The man could cut a promo on anybody and just as easily back it up in the ring. Piper's Pit was the first of it's kind. With it's talk show format, Piper changed the way interviews were conducted. Now there have been several versions of Piper's Pit since, but they all fail in comparison to Piper's. As soon as his bag pipes hit, you got chills. Piper walked to the ring like a mad man, acting as if he was about to kill someone. He OWNED the moment every single time he stepped through that curtain. Rowdy Roddy Piper's legendary promo's are what put him on this list, but when you add up everything else he did on top of it, Piper became a superstar.
