7. Beulah McGuillicutty vs. Bill Alfonso -- As Good As It Gets, September 20, 1997
Beulah was ECW's sweetheart, and arguably the most beautiful valet in the company. Fonzie was a runt running around with a whistle, begging to get his ass kicked. That's what made this intergender match one of the most intense and brutal five minutes in ECW wrestling history. And it was unique. Just moments into the match, Beulah smashes a cookie sheet across Fonzie's face, busting him wide open. As legendary announcer Gordon Solie would say: "His head has been lacerated, his face quickly becoming a crimson mask." Alfonso is a bloody mess as Beulah takes him out on the floor and sends him crashing into the steel gate and into the first row. Back in the ring, she attempts to clock him with a frying pan but instead gets a low blow. Using the strap from his whistle, Alfonso chokes Beulah and follows it up with a bodyslam. He goes for a suplex but Beulah reverses it and delivers a DDT, then a clothesline. Back and forth, Beulah and Fonzie have the crowd on the edge of their seats as Alfonso, unbelievably, goes for a moonsault but gets caught, and tied up in the tree of woe. Beulah sets a chair up in front of Alfonso's bloody face -- shades of Tommy Dreamer -- and delivers a sliding dropkick. Dazed and confused, Alfonso, in a last ditch effort, attempts a powerbomb only to be caught in a hurricarana by Beulah, who mercifully follows up with an easy pin. "She's hardcore!" the frenetic ECW crowd chants in unison, fists pumping high in the air. On this unforgettable night in Philly, Beulah took it to the extreme.
