3. Dudley Boyz vs. Spike Dudley & Balls Mahoney -- Hardcore TV, July 5, 1999
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zGAVCz3V4k Nobody in the industry swings a chair any harder than Balls Mahoney. Come to think of it, is there a more extreme name than Balls Mahoney? On this hot summer night at the Odeon Theater, Balls is looking for a receipt after several sneak attacks and beatdowns from the Dudleys. So he and his partner Spike challenge Devon and Bubba Ray to a Chicago Street Fight Falls Count Anywhere Match for the ECW Tag Team Championship. The crowd is on their feet and the fight is on as Devon goes toe-to-toe with Balls as Spike hits Bubba with a hurricarana, kicking this one off with a bang. Within minutes, Spike is lacerated as Bubba rakes a cheese grater and shreds the flesh of his younger half-brother's face. "Die, Spike, die!" yells Bubba. "This is absolutely disgusting!" screams Joey Styles. Out of pure desperation, Spike low blows Bubba with the cheese grater, as Balls throws a beer in the face of Devon. The four of them battle out to the floor as Spike is now stalking Bubba with the cheese grater, lacerating him across the forehead and face. "Holy Jesus!" Bubba cries out. Like something out of a slasher film, the violence continues to escalate as Balls pulls out a fork -- shades of Abdullah the Butcher -- and sadistically carves Devon's forehead up in the middle of the ring. Spike and Bubba battle through the crowd to the far corners of the Odeon Theater. "EC-Dub!" chants break out as Bubba takes Spike's blood and smears it across his cheeks like war paint, then licks the blood off his fists. Now that's extreme. Out of the camera's view, Bubba is knocked to the ground as Spike climbs up to a balcony and delivers one of the most extreme dives in ECW history. The crowd is going absolutely wild as all four wrestlers, bloodied and battered, finally make their way back to the ring. The in ring action is thrilling as Balls and Spike score several two-counts, as the Dudleys somehow manage to kick out of signature moves like the Acid Drop and the Nutcracker Suite. Devon fights back and delivers an inverted DDT to Balls, while the Dudleys hit Spike with a 3D out of nowhere. Balls makes the save with a sickening chair shot to the back of Devon, and an even more frightening one to the skull of Bubba. "Balls! Balls! Balls!" and "EC-Dub!" chants echo throughout the theater once again as Balls sets up a table covered in thumbtacks and soaked with lighter fluid. But it would be the Dudleys who turn the tables on Balls, driving him through an inferno of a flaming table for the win. "Holy Sh*t!" the crowd chants at a fever pitch, as Balls and Spike are laid out in the center of the ring, having given their absolute best to the most accomplished tag team in the history of professional wrestling. Holy sh*t, indeed.
