WWE: 10 Failed Attempts At Re-Creating WrestleMania Magic
Every major professional wrestling event tends to have at least one match that stands out from all the others. It's the match of the night, the crème de la crème, and the overall best in show that everyone remembers even years after the show came to its end. This especially holds true to WWE's very own WrestleMania, the showcase of the immortals. It is at WrestleMania each year that every professional wrestler goes in giving 110 percent in order to create a great show that sends the fans home happy. However, only a select few ever manage to have their own "WrestleMania Moment," a brief period of time where something happens during a match that is so awesome or gratifying to the millions of fans around the world that it gets replayed and highlighted over and over and over again. Another thing that makes these moments, these bits of "WrestleMania Magic," so precious is that it can only happen once. It can't possibly be duplicated, no matter how many attempts are made in order to attain the pure delight that we all got when that moment first happened. However, that has not stopped WWE from trying at least. Yes, there have been many moments where WWE, and one other wrestling company in particular, tried their best to re-create WrestleMania Magic and came up short. A few managed to get close, but nothing could touch the original moment that first took place on the grandest stage of them all. Here are just ten matches where milking the WrestleMania cash cow left WWE, and WCW, with an empty bucket.
