6. The Rock vs. John Cena (WrestleMania 29)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvSf46wjrU0 Speaking of duplicating matches, the rematch between Rock and Cena was a flat out copy of their previous encounter at WrestleMania 28. Some could argue that their WrestleMania 28 match wasn't that much better, but considering the months of storyline and match promotion that was devoted to this one match (there's even an entire DVD dedicated to the feud,) a tony of hype was placed on WrestleMania 28. It was billed as being a "once in a lifetime" match, yet they knew that a rematch would be inevitable. Even with the World Title thrown in to make things more interesting, there were still a large number of recycled spots and moments of deja vu that left some eyebrows raised for all the wrong reasons. To make matters worse, some fans weren't too fond of The Rock holding the World Title for a month before dropping it to Cena who has always had his fair share of detractors. They're not terrible matches by any means, but at the same time they could have been so much more. If something in the formula changed just a tad, then maybe Rock/Cena II would have surpassed the original. Unfortunately, it was a watered down match meant to play it safe and throw the belt on Cena.
