While many talent from the 90's have squandered their riches, Sting has astutely invested and saved his money. He boasts a personal fortune of $8 million which he has kept nicely topped up with a significant TNA deal. When he confirms his WWE deal later this year, expect that bank balance to grow further he can expect a nice downside guarantee, bonuses and very significant merchandise cuts. WWE and Sting stand to make an absolute bomb from t shirts and DVD sales, with the distinctive star throwing up several marketing opportunities. We can also expect a Wrestlemania 31 match and 2015 Hall of Fame induction. Again, Borden will profit significantly. By all accounts though, he is a humble man. Beyond motorbike purchases and real estate investments, Borden has saved well from his lucrative days in WCW. Eric Bischoff was famously termed 'ATM Eric' when managing World Championship Wrestling, with Sting becoming one of the chief recipients of the never ending money flow. As such, Steve Borden hasn't had to worry about money for nearly over 20 years now.
