WWE: 10 Forgotten Superstars That Should Have Won Gold

3. Bam Bam Bigelow

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdmoCeWMpS0 Possibly the most talented super heavyweight ever, Bam Bam Bigelow was a marvel to behold. His initial WWE run from 1987-1988 showed tremendous potential and, if rumour is to be believed, Bigelow was the first choice to win the WWE title at Wrestlemania 4 over Randy Savage. However, Bigelow required knee surgery and would not have been able to undergo the gruelling WWE road schedule of the time and was therefore passed over in favour of company workhorse Randy Savage who proved very successful in the role. Bigelow would return to the WWE in 1992 and stay until 1995 headlining Wrestlemania 11 against Lawrence Taylor and entering one stunning performance after another. Bigelow, at any point, would have made a worthy WWE champion and there are many, myself included, who believe it is Bigelow who should have been chosen to have the title reign bestowed on Diesel in 1994-1995 but this was not to be and Bigelow saw his role reduced during 1995 until he finally left in late November. A much loved and admired performer, Bigelow should have achieved so much more than he did and it is a crying shame he never got to hold the big belt.
