WWE: 10 Most Frustrating Things About Being A WWE Fan In The UK

1. There's Never Been A British WWE World Champion

Wwe Belt Undoubtedly the most frustrating thing about being a British WWE fan is that no-one from our shores has won WWE's greatest prize. And its not from lack of trying, or lack of talent. A number of British wrestlers have had the potential to be the WWE Champion over the years, but WWE have never pulled that particular trigger. Our best attempts at getting the gold came from the names I mentioned before; British Bulldog, William Regal, Wade Barrett & Drew McIntyre; all of whom are talented guys, but didn't or haven't reached the top of the mountain. As it stands, our current chances are with Barrett & McIntyre, but they're seemingly trapped in the mid and lower card with somewhat questionable gimmicks and seem unlikely to win WWE's major title any time soon. Barrett has received championship matches, and McIntyre was actually described as a future World Champion by Vince McMahon himself, but they've only gotten as far as the Tag Team & Intercontinental titles. British fans will probably have a long wait to see a British champion, especially now that the WWE & World Heavyweight Championships have been unified, and frustratingly it seems unlikely that there'll be one in the near future or perhaps even ever at all.
