WWE: 10 Most Frustrating Things About Being A WWE Fan In The UK

6. Probably Never Meeting Our Heroes

The fact that the majority of wrestling fans in the UK will probably never meet their wrestling heroes is perhaps less frustrating, more disheartening. Don't get me wrong, there are opportunities to meet wrestlers in the UK - they now tour here twice a year - but in terms of signings, meet and greets, Q&A sessions etc., they tend to be few and far between for us British fans. Over the 20 plus years of being a wrestling fan, the only wrestler I've met in person was Bret Hart. I'm not ungrateful, Bret was great, but there's lots of other wrestlers I'd love to meet too. Shawn Michaels is the next big name touring the UK soon, but his appearances are currently being advertised as the one and only opportunity that we'd get to meet him, and if you miss it, that's it. While there's chances to meet the current roster of wrestlers, there's little to no chance to meet legends who have retired and settled into lives in North America, frustratingly out of reach. They say you should never meet your heroes, but getting the chance to would be nice.
