WWE: 10 Greatest Canadian Wrestlers Ever

10. "The Mountie" Jacques Rougeau

The Mountie had the cheesiest theme song in the history of wrestling. Just look at the lyrics. I'm the Mountie I'm handsome I'm brave I'm strong I'm the Mountie And I enforce the law You can try to run But you can never hide Cause The Mountie Always gets his man It's so cheesy that it's good. That's how I always looked at it, at least. The career of Jacques Rougeau saw him win the Intercontinental Title one time and the Tag Team Titles three times with his partner Pierre of the Quebecers tag team. He also tagged with his brother Ray when he first started in WWE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_SIZApuvpA Rougeau wasn't the best all around wrestler or anything like that, but he was a very arrogant heel that knew how to piss off a crowd. That's why WWE had him portray a gimmick as a proud Canadian police officer (a Mountie) and use it as a way to draw heat. Remember, the late 80s and early 90s were full of silly, over the top characters in WWE. The Mountie was one of them. He was also a very solid performer.
