WWE: 10 Greatest Cruiserwieghts Of All Time

3. Chris Jericho

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4HSFlSkvLs Chris Jericho came into WCW a bland babyface, but ultimately left on the brink of becoming one of the top stars of that era. And the WWE picked him up just as he was about to ripen. The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla finally came into his own when he turned into a whiny, comedic heel, but with a mean streak he wasn't afraid to show either. He put Mysterio out of commission for six months after defeating him for the Cruiserweight Title and became embroiled in a couple of other solid feuds against Juventud Guerrera and Dean Malenko. These feuds brought about some of Jericho's best in-ring and showcased early on Jericho's verbal chops on her mic. Calling himself the Man of 1,004 Holds as a rib on Malenko's nickname, renaming his opponents such as Ron Mysterio and QuasiJuice Guerrera, and his introduction of the participants in the battle royal at the Slamboree '98 pay-per-view were some of the highlights of Jericho's finely-tuned mouthpiece. Yet, WCW being who they were at the time didn't know what they had on their hands when they refused to build to a pay-per-view match between Goldberg and Jericho, during when Jericho was doing some of his best stuff in building the angle. No matter. Jericho jumped over to the WWE and debuted in one of the most memorable entrances in WWE history. His star was able to shine even brighter, picking up a multitude of Intercontinental Title wins and becoming the first ever Undisputed Champion. As is necessary in the business, Y2J has been able to reinvent himself with every comeback and prove that he still belongs at the top of the card. And as his return at the 2013 Royal Rumble proved he'll always have his loyal Jerichoholics ready to welcome him back.
