7. Clean Wins And Losses
As heels or as faces, the key to success is getting over. What better way to prove beyond a doubt that Ziggler, Miz, and Ryder are the real deal then to give the a slew of high profile clean finishes? Yes, that includes clean losses. Clean losses don't preclude a group beat down after the loss, but of paramount importance is the clean win. The clean win is a credible win, and what these guys are so publicly asserting as their gimmick (presumably) is that they are not taken as credible. The great thing about credibility is that once you have it, you can lose it...but the fans still know you've got the right stuff and that you're "heel" wins or your "Super Cena" string of victories (that's right) are just part of the story line. A few really good clean wins and a few well placed clean losses will do a lot to make these wrestlers--as individuals and as a group--not only credible but legitimate with the fans. Even Eddie Guerrero could pull out a clean win, and the fans knew it. Once the do, they can start to cheat all day.
