WWE: 10 Most Irrelevant Big Name Wrestlers Right Now

8. Ryback

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVP4s2EzgK0 WrestleMania XXIX match: Lost to Mark Henry Past year PPV highlights: Lost to John Cena at Extreme Rules and Payback; Beat Chris Jericho at Money in the Bank; Lost to CM Punk at Battleground and Hell in a Cell; Lost Tag Team title match (with Curtis Axel) at TLC News flash! Ryback is in an actual match at WrestleMania XXX! This is actually a big deal because none of the other wrestlers on this list have a match. Most of them are in the Andre the Giant battle royal. But that doesn't change the fact that Ryback has slid far downhill in the past year. His heel turn was the big angle on the Raw after WrestleMania XXIX. He headlined two PPVs with John Cena as a result, but here he is today, in a tag team called Rybaxel that was thrown into a four-way tag match. Ryback has won one PPV match in the past 20 months, in July 2013. That's a long drought on either side of that lone victory. The bloom is off the rose with Ryback, and the question here is whether he can reclaim any sense of relevance in WWE.
