WWE: 10 Life Lessons From Chris Jericho Every Man Must Follow

10. "I'm From Winnipeg You Idiot" - Be Proud Of Where You Come From

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53h0sXFuqlI Chris Jericho may be a huge superstar who has seen his fame take him all over the world, but at heart, he is still a humble dude from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He remains loyal to his Canadian roots, showing all the traits of Maple Leaf pride in being a good natured human being. As he jokingly told 'WWE Unscripted' in 2003 "When I go home and my wife tells me to take out the garbage and I say to her, 'No. I'm the world champion and a huge rock star.' She'll tell me to go to hell and take the garbage with me." Jericho was joking there that at the end of the day he is still the same man he started out as, he may be a World Champion but he still has to do the chores like sorting the bins out. It's a good attitude to have, you can't take yourself too seriously in life, and you should never believe your own hype. By never being taken in by ego you will always be hungry to strive to achieve more and that seems to be the case with Jericho. Born in New York but raised in Winnipeg he is still the same Hockey loving pop culture child he started out as. Hilariously he made a point of his roots when overheard telling a fan in the crowd "I'm from Winnipeg you idiot" in response to being heckled to go back to Toronto.
