Roman Reigns may just be the next big thing in wrestling. At least it seems hes being groomed for that role right now. Hes probably a safe bet to at least receive a few pay-per-view main events in his future. And why not? Reigns has everything that top WWE management is looking for. Hes muscular, good looking and charismatic. He's nearly a complete package. Sure, he hasnt yet proved that hes capable of cutting a money promo, but hell have years to develop that skill. After all, hes only-28-years old, and could perhaps pick up a few pointers from his cousin The Rock. What Reigns has done in the WWE so far is proven that hes a fast learner. When he first debuted with The Shield, he appeared to be the weak link of the trio. Ambrose could talk, Rollins could wrestle, but Reigns didnt seem to have a specialty. Since that time, hes proven his worth simply by becoming the coolest member of the group. That's just something you just can't teach. He's also picked up confidence on the microphone, and improved in the ring. To top if off, he's now taking a bit of the spotlight from the other two Shield members more often than not. Unlike Ryback, WWE isnt forcing Reigns upon us. They appear to have learned their lesson. He's catching on more every week with the crowd naturally, so when its time to pull the trigger on his big push they probably wont resent him for it. With everything Reigns has going for him right now, he looks to be the surest thing on the roster to someday main event a future WrestleMania.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
