WWE: 10 Longest United States Championship Reigns Of The Modern Era

1. MVP

mvp I'm coming! Montel Vontavious Porter, or MVP for short, held the United States title for a whopping 343 days in his first reign which lasted from May 2007 to April 2008. MVP took the title from Chris Benoit, pinning The Crippler in two straight falls at Judgment Day. He went on to feud and reluctantly team with Matt Hardy for much of his championship reign. The unlikely duo even captured the WWE Tag Team titles at one point. Also having matches on pay-per-view with wrestling icon Ric Flair, MVP slithered away with his title retaining it by count out against Kane and Rey Mysterio. Hardy finally dethroned him at Backlash. Who has been your favourite US champ of the modern era? Have your say below...
