WWE: 10 Longest United States Championship Reigns Of The Modern Era

8. Orlando Jordan

Orlando Jordan John "Bradshaw" Layfield's chief of staff went 173 days in 2005 with the US Championship after capturing it from John Cena. Under the watchful eye of JBL, Jordan dumped the custom spinner belt worn by his predecessor and brought back the originally revived title. Much like Santino above his run was low key, though he enjoyed two successful pay-per-view defences against Heidrenrich at Judgment Dya and then against Chris Benoit at Vengeance. That did not prevent Jordan from losing the US title to The Crippler in a quick squash at Summerslam, however.
