Somebody hail the Cobra! Italian Stallion Santino's only run with the US title lasted 167 days in the spring and summer of 2012. Beating Jack Swagger on a RAW SuperShow in March, he went on to have a low key reign only making one successful defence on pay-per-view. That was against The Miz on the Extreme Rules pre-show. Santino went on to be involved in gimmick contests a Tuxedo match with Ricardo Rodriguez as well as participating in a Money In The Bank Ladder match before losing the belt on the Summerslam pre-show, ironically enough to Swagger's Real Americans partner Antonio Cesaro.
