WWE: 10 Main Event Matches We Want For The Network Launch Raw
2. Triple H vs CM Punk
The feud that has a mini feud within it. When CM Punk left the WWE last month, he did so while basically saying: Triple H isn't a big enough opponent. While on one hand he is right, he opened Pandora's Box of trouble with doing so. With Triple H being the heir apparent to Vince, he is the last person to make angry. With this, there feud, if Punk were to come back, could be extremely amplified. Emotion is one of the most important aspects of a WWE match. We want a reason to be rooting for a guy. We want a reason to boo the other one. These reasons are more than just what they do in the ring or prior to the match, it is how they do those things. Any guy could go out and act heel, but it takes a special emotion to get the passion of the WWE Universe. With the backstage issues, the emotions will be overflowing. While this could also be a bad thing, Triple H is a professional and Punk, even though can be tough at times, is as well. While this is the most likely match that would happen at Wrestlemania if Punk did come back, this match could enhance the match or set up a different match for them. It is possible that Punk would fight Triple H again at Mania for some sort of power within the company, kayfabe wise. This could lead to a Punk-Lesnar rematch with some interference. Who knows? The one thing that is for sure is that this match would be an amazing Main Event.
I am a recent college graduate who loves everything about sports and look to spread my opinions to those who will listen. My passion for the art of pro wrestling has been vast ever since 2011 when C.M. Punk dropped his "Pipebomb" in Las Vegas and hasn't dropped since.
