10. Austin Vs Triple H
Steve Austin versus Triple H was actually a match WWE tried to put together for this year at WrestleMania 30. Negotiations collapsed last summer due to Austin not really fancying it and financial details. The creative had called for Vince McMahon to bring back Austin, he would have then managed the star against Hunter who was being managed by Stephanie. Let's be honest, it's the kind of weak creative we have seen way too much of already. Perhaps since then, WWE have strengthened their sales pitch to Austin. Maybe they now have him on board with the idea. We do know that Austin will be at WrestleMania 30, and we do know that he said he wouldn't come to New Orleans unless it was for something of a major role. It could be the case that WWE have got through the Hunter vs Austin deal and the Rattlesnake will tonight set the road to a match at Mania 31 with a stonecold stunner that costs Triple H the opportunity to screw Daniel Bryan. It would be cool to see. Austin has kept saying he is feeling healthy over the last few years, he often comments he feels in amazing shape. His first match in over a decade is sure to do mega business. If his role tonight ends up being establishing a future match with Triple H then it will be the perfect slice of the Attitude Era we all want to see. Just imagine the segments we might see between the talented mic workers between now and Mania 31.
