WWE: 10 Most Memorable Midget Matches

3. Max Mini, Mosaic, and Nova vs. Battalion, Tarantula, and El Torito

Before anything else is said, no, it€™s not the same El Torito who currently comes out with Los Matadores. This El Torito was actually the same guy who performed as Mini Vader in the Raw tag match. This time he, along with five other midget wrestlers, took stage at the 1998 edition of the Royal Rumble event. If there one thing that should be taken away from this match (other than how attractive Sunny looked in her special referee outfit,) was the amazing lucha libre style wrestling that the midget wrestlers performed during the show. There€™s fast, there€™s really fast, and then there€™s Maxi Mini fast. If the ring work looks familiar, it€™s because Max Mini had formerly worked for WWE under the name Mascarita Sagrada. Small world, isn€™t it? The action went all over the place as the transition from mat wrestling to aerial attacks outside of the ring flowed like fine wine. By the end, the strength focused heels were outmatched and defeated by the lightning speed of their babyface opponents. At a time where attitude was the name of the game, these midget performers left a lasting impression with fans at the San Jose Arena that night.
