6. Mr. America
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSbpt8KkPi8 Piper's whole WWE return in 2003 was based around his hatred for Hulk Hogan. Following on from their match at WrestleMania 19, Vince McMahon ordered that Hulk Hogan could never appear on WWE TV again. To counteract this ruling, Stephanie brought in an exciting new superstar known that everyone knew was really Hulk Hogan. Hogan was now appearing as Mr. America in a decision that probably have pissed off Marvel further after already annoying them over the years over their trademark of the Hulk. Piper and McMahon made it their duty to unmask Mr. America and prove he was Hogan, which would have let them rid the WWE of his presence. On this edition of Piper's Pit, Roddy came to the ring flanked by Sean O'Haire and challenged Mr. America to a match at the upcoming Judgment Day PPV in a promise to remove his mask. Mr. America then came to the ring (to Hogan's Real American theme) and gave his Old Glory flag to a "lucky" fan at ringside. Piper insulted Mr. America, livid that the fans were playing along with this farce. America accepted the challenge in typical Hogan fashion and said he would beat Piper's ass at Judgment Day like his hero Hulk did in the past, to which Piper reminded him that Hulk Hogan had NEVER beaten him one on one. Hot Rod then took aim at the fans for falling for Mr. America's nonsense, singling out the young fan that received the flag on the way to the ring. Piper sent O'Haire to take care of the flag-waving fan, distracting Hogan for long enough for Roddy to attack him from behind. Despite fighting back, the numbers advantage become too much for Hogan especially when O'Haire and steel chair got involved. As they attempted to rip his mask off, the same fan HOPPED into the ring and hit Piper with the flag, before being taken down by O'Haire. As security tried to drag the kid from the ring, Piper engaged in a tug of war to pull him back in. During the struggle, Piper was shocked to win the war by pulling off the boy's prosthetic leg. Even O'Haire found this too much to deal with and disappeared to the back, leaving Piper standing holding the fake limb. Mr. America went on to defeat Piper at Judgment Day with the one legged kid, Zach Gowen in his corner. Hogan and Piper both disappeared from WWE soon after with Hogan once again falling out with the WWE over money. Piper moved onto a short spell in TNA while they never really figured out what to do with Gowen seemingly only hiring him to book an angle where someone got their leg pulled off for shock value.
