2. Big Daddy V Challenges For The ECW Title
After disposing of the Boogeyman and countless jobbers, V got his chance when he was inserted into the ECW Championship Chase after Dreamer appeared to have won it in a major upset after defeating Elijah Burke. The fresh V quickly defeated Dreamer and claimed a shot at the ECW Title, held by the new champion CM Punk. The program was rushed and so was the match. At No Mercy 2007, the two met and as soon as it got going, Stryker interfered for the DQ finish. V laid out Punk in the post-match and it looked like the program was set to continue. However in the following weeks, Big Daddy V started showing up on Smackdown to feud, once again, with the Undertaker. CM Punk also moved on, going to feud with John Morrison and The Miz over the ECW Title.
