Gone were the pajamas and contacts and in were black suspenders that showed his massive upper chest and tattoos. Big Daddy V debuted as the hired gun of Matt Stryker to fight The Boogeyman, sending the worm-loving creature through Stryker's chalkboard. V went on to defeated the Boogeyman is the feud and gained several wins in a row, many over designated jobbers in handicap matches. The veteran Frazier showed some of his best work during this time, getting big reactions for throwing smaller wrestlers around and leaving the mic work to Stryker. Add on a kick-ass theme song, Big Daddy V seemed like a character on the uptick in WWE.
