WWE: 10 Men Who Should Have Been Given The Undertaker Streak Win

3. Daniel Bryan

For years, the story going around was that The Undertaker was willing to lose at WrestleMania €“ but only if it was to someone he saw as the next big star. In today's WWE, there's nobody hotter than Daniel Bryan €“ and while Bryan's night last Sunday was the stuff of legend, a win over The Undertaker could potentially have been just as career-making. The story would have an extra wrinkle, too €“ Daniel Bryan was trained by Shawn Michaels, whom The Undertaker beat (twice) and retired. While it's a little too pigeonholing to put Bryan out for revenge, the connection to the amazing Undertaker/HBK matches would only strengthen this new program. The match itself could even call out to those classics. The Undertaker could tell Daniel Bryan to stay down as he tries to fight to his feet, or Bryan could drop a big elbow from the top rather than a headbutt. In a business built on telling stories, a Daniel Bryan victory over The Undertaker could have been one of the most satisfying possible.
