WWE: 10 Men Most Likely To End Daniel Bryan's Title Reign

9. Cesaro

The Swiss Superman is entering his breakout year. He had an entertaining run with Jack Swagger as the Real Americans for most of 2013, but quietly established himself as a singles star in the process. His work in NXT against the likes of William Regal and Sami Zayn sent tremors throughout the IWC, and his in-ring work on the main programs won him a strong following in the audience. After a triumphant performance at Wrestlemania 30 in the ATGMBR (Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal takes far too much time to type.... crap, I did it anyway) he broke away from Swagger and Zeb Coulter the next night on Raw and was given the ultimate stamp of approval by becoming a Paul Heyman guy. And in the good way, not the Curtis Axel way. At first, he seemed primed to cement his success by winning the IC title, but the past few weeks have seen him shift sideways into a feud against his former allies. While it's smart that he doesn't win the IC title straight away (I think I read that on the internet somewhere...http://whatculture.com/wwe/wwe-5-reasons-intercontinental-tournament-good-thing.php/4 ) he's going to need something to do once his breakup with The Real Americans is consummated, so to speak. So why not challenge for Bryan's title? Having Paul Heyman in your corner is a huge asset. He can talk anybody up and make them look like the biggest deal in the world. While that could normally be a stretch, it's convincing in Cesaro's case. Heyman is used to managing main event calibre guys, and would have no problem taking Cesaro to that plateau. And if they can't arrive at a feud with Bryan organically, there's always Money In The Bank. If Cesaro isn't tied up elsewhere come June, he's likely to be in the MITB match. If he is, you've got to think he's a favourite. Failing that, there's always another Paul Heyman guy....
