WWE: 10 Moments When Triple H's Ego Has Damaged Other Wrestlers

2. CM Punk

If you are any sort of wrestling fan, you are fully aware of CM Punk's famous pipe-bomb in 2011, for those that don't know, he grabbed a microphone and vented at everything and everyone that had irritated him over the past few years. Nobody was exempt; Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan and The Rock all took verbal hits from Punk. The speech made CM Punk a superstar; he was instantly loved by the fans and 'left' the company with the title. Fans were left with a thousand questions and CM Punk was now a star, gifted to the WWE on a plate. The idea of an instant feud with the authorities made a lot of sense, after all they were the main target in his shoot. He was saying what he wanted, to whom he wanted and the crowd were lapping up every minute, not to mention he was one of the best in-ring performers in the company. So which direction did the WWE choose to take the hottest angle since The Attitude Era? Naturally it would turn into a feud between Triple H and best friend Kevin Nash. Yep, a washed up Kevin Nash joined the CM Punk drama to eventually fall out with his friend and then fight him in a Ladder Match. Not to mention, CM Punk also lost to Triple H in the one PPV they squared off in amongst this storyline.
