8. Nick Bockwinkel
Those who watched Nick Bockwinkel perform and speak in his prime say he was like magic - this is despite the fact most people couldn't understand a word he said. Bockwinkel's promos were famous for their charismatic, articulated nature, using a bewildering depth of large words which would either stun his opponents or leave them speechless, dumbfounded by what he'd said. A WWE Hall of Famer, Bockwinkel's domination of the American Wrestling Association made him a top performer in the country, at a time when personalities in the wrestling business weren't at their peak Nick stood out in the crowd, but eventually times caught up, and as Bockwinkel aged the younger, more charismatic performers such as Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes moved in. Bockwinkel retired in 1987, coming out of retirement three times since the, his final match coming in 1994, giving him the credit to having performed in five consecutive decades. To this day Bockwinkel is credited by some, such as Pat Patterson as the most intelligent man to have ever ventured into professional wrestling.
