WWE: 10 Notoriously Difficult To Work With Wrestlers

1. Shawn Michaels

A younger Shawn Michaels is pictured here for a reason: post 2002 after his comeback from a horrific back injury, Michaels was a changed man, crediting his new found Christian beliefs as having altered his personality for the better and by all accounts, we agree. The Shawn Michaels that tops this list however, is the Shawn Michaels of the Nineties. He was a rampaging ego driven monster, responsible for holding down so many of the promising talents of the time. The fact that he was an absolute professional inside the ring and delivered classic match up after classic match up were the only reasons Vince let me keep his job. He was a party animal, destroying hotel rooms and matching the worst excesses of the most sordid rock stars along with his friends in The Kliq. The fact that Shawn was the only thing keeping WWE afloat at the time only made things worse as he was fully aware of this and abused it to the highest degree. Shawn Micheals should be the first name discussed when attempting the loaded debate about who the GOAT is. But unfortunately, he is also the first name discussed when speaking of wrestlers who used backstage politics and atrocious behavior mar their otherwise impeccable career. So that finishes our top ten, feel free to agree (or not) below, maybe add a few suggestions of your own.
