This was a trio of Mexican wrestlers, with a gimmick that included them arriving to the ring on a lawnmower; if that wasn't enough, the group labelled their vehicle as the 'Mexican Limo 2005' and also wore worker's overalls. Obviously, they had no time to get changed between jobs. The stable would frequently poke fun at the jobs that Mexican's living in the United States were left to do. Even making reference to former Mexican president, Vicente Fox's negative comments about the way Mexican's are treated within America. The novelty soon wore off, as often is the case with so many of these one-dimensional international characters and The Mexicools were soon removed from the roster. The most disappointing element of the gimmick is that it did not allow us to really appreciate three very proven wrestlers for their talents. Juventud, in particular is a very talented performer, who was seen to have some extremely good matches in WCW, prior to his stint in the WWE. Juventud was also badly hindered by the fact that his signature finisher move, 450° splash, was considered too dangerous by the company and was quickly banned.
