2. Pat Paterson

Pat Patterson A mainstay of the WWF, Pat Paterson has fulfilled numerous roles for Vince McMahon €“ and was a key architect of the WWF growth from being regional to national to global. He worked on numerous levels of McMahon's empire at the same time, from top office to overseeing the stage hands, from setting out matches to writing storylines. Pat Paterson was a versatile worker who put his influence across the company, and saw the WWF go from small halls to huge football stadiums. Paterson has been with Vince in a backstage role since 1984. Despite some controversies and out periods (namely after being involved a molestation scandal), Paterson has never fell out of favour with Vince. The reason for this is that McMahon knows he owes Paterson a considerable gratitude, few men have been so involved with so many different aspects of backstage WWE business €“ Paterson surely has considerable dirt on McMahon that he keeps quiet. His loyalty is unwavering. As a road agent he has also been credited with booking the finishes for a large amount of WWE's most famous matches.
