7. Lance Storm
Another wrestler turned road agent who can be credited with the current style of wrestling you currently enjoy on WWE television. Before retirement, Storm was partly involved in training upcoming WWE talents - he had a hand in the development of the likes of Batista, John Cena and Brock Lesnar. Following retirement from in-ring competition, Storm was full time involved in wrestling training at WWE's OVW. He helped set the agenda for the "WWE modern style", and his tutelage became world renowned. Now working independently as a trainer, Storm is the man to seek out for aspiring wrestlers wanting to learn the business. It was in OVW that Storm trained Mickie James and Dolph Ziggler, both of whom have been regularly recognized as some of the best workers in what they do. When fans rave about Ziggler and compare him to Shawn Michaels, they should remember that he was taught by Lance Storm who was himself as smooth as HBK and boasted a sweet super kick. The truth is that Storm has long been one of the most respected wrestlers in the world, even in ECW he was the man most revered for his ability to wrestle and help his opponent learn.
