From @TheKostos: What will WWE do with the WWE Title if/when Brock wins at Summerslam?
It's one of those things where we will have to wait and see, but he's also expected to wrestle at Night of Champions in September as well. Lesnar will probably win the WWE Title at SummerSlam. He'll successfully defend it at Night of Champions. It's after that where we really don't know. If Lesnar only works four PPVs over 12 months then he's probably not wrestling after Night of Champions until Royal Rumble in January. It seems unlikely to me that Lesnar would hold the WWE Title for the October, November & December PPVs without appearing at all. Perhaps there's some deal with him we don't know about, but my feeling is he's not going to hold the WWE Title all the way to WrestleMania. He might drop it at Night of Champions. A WWE Champion that is gone for three or four months would not be good for a company that is trying to get people to subscribe and renew to WWE Network. The WWE Title is a valuable piece of hardware that needs to be defended regularly. It will be very interesting to see how WWE handles this.
