She's a very good character, but has she really added anything to her character in the last year? The whole crazy chick thing was well established in 2012 and the early part of 2013. To really be a special talent, she has to evolve. You mention Trish and Lita. Both of them evolved. Trish went from smiling, boring babyface to a confident woman that ended up going heel and then she ended her career as an accomplished face that everybody loved. Lita started as a high energy manager type, developed her skills in a ring by hitting a lot of big moves and then reached her greatest success as a rotten heel with Edge. You hit on the other factor too. She needs opponents. Her feud with Kaitlyn had some backstory since they were former best friends, but none of the other feuds she has had really stand out. It's just her ripping on the Total Divas. There's not much to it. WWE has to do a better job of coming up with storylines involving their women in order for them to be perceived as bigger stars. The good news for AJ is that she's 26 years old and has a lot of time to grow as a performer.
