From €@alpi1980 on Twitter Is Taker-HBK showdown at 2007 Rumble the greatest ending as well as greatest Rumble ever?
I think the showdown between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels at Royal Rumble 2007 was the best final two in Rumble history, absolutely. As for best Royal Rumble matches ever, I would put it in the top three. I think the best Royal Rumble match is from 1992 with Ric Flair winning the vacant WWE Championship. There were a lot of big names in the match and Flair going from #3 all the way to the end of the match was an awesome moment. The other Rumble match I really like was from 2001, which was a star studded match featuring a lot of talent and it was booked in a very entertaining way. In addition to Steve Austin winning, Kane put on an incredible performance as well. What's interesting about the Undertaker/Michaels finish is that even though Undertaker won the Rumble, Michaels ended up getting a WWE Title shot from John Cena and his match went on last at WrestleMania as opposed to Undertaker, who won the World Title from Batista earlier in the show. The Undertaker/Michaels ending also likely led to WWE realizing that they still had amazing chemistry ten years after they feuded and two years after that they had their first of two incredible WrestleMania matches. ---- That's all for the Q&A.
