10. The WWE Travel Schedule

The first question comes last week's Q&A and a reader named Rachel Miller:
I have a question regarding WWE's travel schedule. It seems as if though the WWE visits Seattle, Portland, and Spokane about once a year compared to cities like Boston, NYC, and Chicago which get three, maybe even four shows a year. Is it because the WWE doesn't draw very well in the Northwest? Thanks!
It's definitely a location issue. They have always been more favorable to cities in the Northeast and Midwest. It's also about the population of those areas. They do go to cities NYC, Chicago, Boston every three months or so with a lot of shows aired on television also. Actually they don't even go to Madison Square Garden in NYC as much, but they go to nearby places like Brooklyn and New Jersey as well. They are in that area all the time. There are definitely parts of American and the rest of the world that get neglected, but that's just the way it is. They go to the cities that they've been going to for dozens of years. Certain places on the west coast like Seattle and Portland have great fans. Most people remember the last Seattle show where the crowd took over in terms of their support of local hero Daniel Bryan. Why don't they get two or three TV tapings per year? Not sure, but they deserve it. They're not going to change their travel schedule any time soon. Enjoy it when they come to your town and if they don't, plan a trip to WrestleMania like I do. It's a good time.
