5. WWE Cutting Back On Gimmick PPVs

Tlc
From @NL92_: With regards to PPV gimmick shows, should WWE change to something like they used to be? Gimmick shows (other than MITB) are losing appeal.
That's a good question. I think there are two gimmick PPV shows worth keeping while the others could probably go. There are currently four relatively new PPVs based off gimmick matches: Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank, Hell in a Cell and TLC. That's not counting Royal Rumble and Survivor Series, which are not going away after being around for over 25 years each. The two I would keep are Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank. There's a lot of appeal with those shows. Both of them do a great job of giving a big match feel every year. For Hell in a Cell and TLC they often feel forced. My feeling is that the name of the PPV doesn't matter too much. What matters is if the feuds are good. The problem is that you force people to have HIAC matches when they probably shouldn't and that hurts the gimmick. Hell in a Cell used to be really special. They've had too many average HIAC matches, which is a shame. You could save that gimmick match for another feud at another time. Keep Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank. Get rid of the rest. I'm fine with that.
