8. What Does Cody Rhodes Have To Do To Elevate Himself To The Next Level?
From @ProdigyRep: What does Cody Rhodes have to do to elevate himself to the next level? I feel he has heaps of potential!
I think the breakup with his brother will be a big thing for him. Since most teams end up breaking up with one guy going heel and the other is a face, it will be interesting to see what side Cody falls on. There is a chance that the team may just end when Goldust retires because he's in his mid 40s. Keep in mind that Cody is going to be 28 years old this year. He started very young in WWE and is just hitting his prime now. His future is very bright. Cody's likely better off in the face role because he turned face last summer (remember the feud with former "best friend" Damien Sandow?) and the crowd has grown to really like him. After seeing him in both roles, I think he's more comfortable as a babyface. The problem with the face role is that with guys like John Cena and Daniel Bryan firmly entrenched in that spot it's going to be hard for others to jump ahead of them. If any faces do it will likely be Roman Reigns or Big E. If he went heel again, he could break through as a star. What he needs is WWE management to get behind him, give him a storyline that makes him stand out and to believe him in. I realize that's really generic, but that's what has to happen. I think they know he's a talented guy that they can rely on. Hopefully when he goes back to being a singles wrestler he can have a feud that will elevate him to that next level.
