From @perktom: Is Adam Rose destined to fall into midcard obscurity with his current gimmick?
It's way too early to really know that. If you think about a lot of the recent WWE performers that got video packages before their debuts, a lot of them really didn't work out too well. That doesn't mean Adam Rose is going to fail. It's just hard to project what he might be. I've seen him wrestle for a couple of years as Leo Kruger in NXT, which was really just a basic character that didn't have much personality. Rose is the complete opposite because it's all about the character doing the "party time all the time" thing where he's got energy all the time. The key thing will be how they book him in matches. Will he bore the fans in the ring? He might. If that happens then they won't even care about having 15 people with him on the entrance because His debut on Raw wasn't that great. It should have been a match. That's what it will probably be next week. Hopefully the crowd response is better because it is a fun gimmick that's definitely different. I hope the character succeeds, but if it doesn't then he will definitely fall into that midcard obscurity place you mentioned.
