6. Matt Hardy & Lita

Who could forget the Maury Povich-like romance between former WWE Diva Lita (Amy Dumas) and Matt Hardy? The two dated in real life and then on screen when Lita served as manager for the Hardy Boyz. The two first met in January 1999 and began dating a few months later, setting up home together in North Carolina after Lita joined the WWE in 2000. In February 2005 Matt Hardy discovered that Lita had been engaged in a months long affair with fellow WWE superstar Edge (Adam Copeland) who was married at the time. The affair had begun whilst Matt had been inactive at home recovering from a knee injury. Hardy made this information public knowledge which then led to Hardy being fired by the company for unprofessional behaviour. WWE later attempted to capitalize on the drama by bringing Hardy back to the company to feud with Edge, turning the real-life situation into a story-line. As of today, none of this trio are active WWE performers. Lita is scheduled to be inducted in to the WWE Hall of fame, class of 2014 (Edge is already a member). Hardy claims that there no longer any bad blood between them, and he is now married to wrestler/model Reby Sky.
