WWE: 10 Reasons A War Games Match Should Be Used At Extreme Rules

6. The Shield

BeFunky_theshield Over the past year The Shield have become one of the best teams in recent memory. They've gone from randomly attacking various wrestlers to being one of the most popular entities in WWE at the moment. Their newfound popularity is pretty much down to their work in the ring, as they don't seem to get as much promo time as they used to, so have been reliant on getting noticed in the squared circle instead. They demonstrated their abilities best at Elimination Chamber, when they took on the Wyatt Family in an extraordinary match. The Shield could use their time in a War Games match to really make a splash and get themselves noticed even more. Their unpredictable, uncontrollable style would also be a great fit for a match with two rings and within the confines of a cage. It's not hard to imagine Seth Rollins doing something spectacular, Roman Reigns showcasing his strength and Dean Ambrose doing whatever it is Dean Ambrose does to great effect in a War Games match. It could help solidify the group, or cause their eventual split. Either way, the three young stars could make a name for themselves in War Games. On top of that, a potential win over Evolution, who have over 20 World title reigns between them, would be something of an accomplishment, and would establish The Shield as major stars.
