The torch always gets passed in professional wrestling. Daniel Bryan inherited the role of fan favourite from the irrepressible CM Punk, and the death of the Yes Movement can perhaps chiefly be attributed to Bryan being overtaken by another star. The Shield were arguably the most popular group to hit the WWE since D-Generation X, and from that tricky trio, one man has emerged as the next big main event star. Step forward, Roman Reigns. In some ways, Reigns shouldn't be taking over from Bryan. They are strikingly different in terms of their appearance, and also in the way they wrestle as technicians. But all that is redundant when you factor in that Reigns is over, and the fans have adopted him as their next darling of the ring. Reigns has become such a big hit that he's closing editions of Raw on his own - without Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins flanking him. All that talk of a big push when The Shield split has come to fruition, and we could well see Reigns become the next champion at Money in the Bank. Bryan has almost been forgotten about, but the Yes Movement has definitely sailed West. Of all the reasons why, Bryan will probably have an envious look at the rise of Roman Reigns, and attribute that push as a major reason why Bryan's popularity has collapsed spectacularly.
