WWE: 10 Reasons Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement Is Dead

2. "B+ Player"

If you throw enough mud in wrestling circles, some of it will eventually stick - no matter how popular a star is. We've seen plenty of top WWE stars suffer horrific falls from grace in the past, and Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement is a similar addition to that list. Triple H has a bit of a reputation amongst wrestling fans for burying WWE stars, but nobody quite expected him to do it with Daniel Bryan. He hasn't completely buried him as a legitimate main event star, but the first time he uttered the "B+ Player" phrase, it struck a real chord. It was a telling line, and almost summed up the feeling the WWE have with little men becoming major champions. We've heard in the past that the company have a reluctance to lay faith at the door of smaller stars, and that line from Triple H was said often enough that people started to believe it. Is he a B+ player? Of course he isn't - at least in the context of the current roster. But that line was a real burial from Triple H, and it had a lasting effect on the Yes Movement.
