WWE: 10 Reasons A Live Smackdown Will Be Infinitely More Interesting

1. Better Quality In The Long Run

Going to a live format would be beneficial not only for Smackdown but the entire company. A live show leads to increase viewership, which then leads to more advertisement dollars. With the new influx of cash WWE can then put the money back into the product by bringing in new talent or having a better presentation for all programming. A live show could also lead to better quality matches across all shows. Performers would have to step their game up another notch in fear of not getting another shot. This sort of competition historically breeds success and could lead to a booming period much like the Attitude era. More live shows would also allow for wrestlers to be better prepared for pay-per-view matches. Smackdown should be on par with Raw in the WWE's hierarchy of shows. It deserves more than to be a longer, glorified WWE Superstars. The prospect of two distinct shows with its own set of stars could go a long way of not only refreshing characters, but rejuvenating the company.
