WWE: 10 Reasons A Live Smackdown Will Be Infinitely More Interesting

2. Live Format Could Lead To Another Brand Extension

Smackdown Raw WWE's roster is as strong as it has ever been. The roster has expanded with an infusion of talent from developmental and the indie scene. It's hard for guys like Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow to have television time when much of Monday nights are dedicated to John Cena, Daniel Bryan and whatever the Authority is involved in. Not to mention the constant plugs for the WWE Network every twenty minutes. The roster is as talented as it has ever been and it is time to give some of the younger guys some time to shine. One of fans biggest complaints about WWE is that no attention is paid to its mid-card. It's hard to develop any sort of character or develop a following with a lack of TV time. The megastars like Cena are rarely seen on Smackdown anyway. So its time to use the show to promote and develop new talent to be future main event stars. Smackdown can be used as a wrestling heavy show that focuses solely on younger talent.
