That was unheard of for many years in WWE, but at Survivor Series 2002 in Madison Square Garden that's what happened here. What was great about the Trish/Victoria rivalry is that they actually both came from the fitness modeling world and knew each other before WWE, but once they got to WWE they became rivals. Victoria was the physical, crazy heel and Trish was the pretty blonde babyface that the fans loved because she was hot. Trish lost her Women's Title in the match, which made sense because she was the underdog because Victoria was the bigger of the two women. It also elevated Victoria as a bigger star as she won the match despite a bloody nose. They actually had some other physical matches over the years with stipulations, but this was the one that started it all and showed that the women could definitely have the same kind of matches as the guys.
