WWE: 10 Reasons The Miz Is Already Hall Of Fame Worthy

3. He's The Shawn

Whenever a successful tag team goes their separate ways, one member is always going to reach greater heights than his partner €“ and no case of that is more well-documented than that of the Rockers. While Shawn Michaels went on to become a legend and household name, Marty Jannetty, for all his talent, was never able to rise above midcard status. When The Miz and John Morrison were dominating the WWE's tag team ranks, experts were already predicting major success for the handsome, acrobatic Morrison. Certainly it would be Miz €“ still a punchline to some €“ who would fall into the path carved by Jannetty. Not so. After the split, Miz and Morrison collided at Bragging Rights 2009, with Miz coming out on top. At Survivor Series the following month, The Miz captained a team that defeated Morrison's team. As the ensuing months passed, Miz's stock only got hotter. When Miz was WWE Champion, the former partners collided once more in a falls count anywhere match on Raw. Again, Miz was victorious. When the bad blood between the two men was at its height, each vowed to make a fool out of the other, and each promised he would be the Shawn Michaels of the team. When the dust had settled, only Miz was right.
