Yes, we've looked at what would happen if a star cashed-in one year later but, what would happen if they cashed in the very same night? It would be a huge Wrestlemania moment regardless of if it was a heel or face who did the deed. I'll pick one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster right now to make my point. Daniel Bryan has been beaten, bruised and battered by The Authority all the way since Summerslam. Then he gets the opportunity to take part in the opening match of the night, a Money in the Bank ladder match. It's, obviously, the highlight of the night and the crowd love it. To top it all, he wins. Half way through the night, HHH comes out and says that, unfortunately, because Daniel is selfish and doesn't want to do what's best for business, he will be cashing in...tonight. He is putting himself into the Wrestlemania Main Event against Orton and Batista. Before the match, Daniel meets Randy backstage who talks trash, and then Big Dave, who shakes his hand. The match is to and fro until eventually, Daniel wins the Wrestlemania XXX gets the biggest ovation ever heard. Bryan is champ, Dave gets the crowd back on side and The Authority has been defeated...for now. Yes, okay. So far, so fantasy booking but, seriously, a cash-in on the night would be the biggest pop you'd hear. All you have to do is listen to a cash-in on Raw to know that 80,000 people doing it would be incredible. Wrestlemania is lacking that excitement, that unpredictability these days and it's because the Money in the Bank ladder match is missing. Bring it back to Wrestlemania WWE. The stars, the card and the crowd need it.
