Again, this goes back to those Wrestlemania moments. Those moments which look great on a montage and, invariably, the Money in the Bank ladder match provided them at the big one. Usually, there are one or two superstars who are just made for this match. Shelton Benjamin was one. Who can forget him sprinting up a perched ladder to stop Chris Jericho taking the contract or bombing Edge off the top of the ladder? RVD rolling thunder onto a ladder? Check. Jeff Hardy jumping onto a comatose Edge and breaking the ladder in half? Check. CM Punk leaping from the ropes to the top of the ladder? Double check. Mr Kennedy winning the briefcase? Oh. Sorry. We'll move right along. Basically, those spots create a huge excitement in the crowd and can be seen for years to come because it is at Wrestlemania and not at a June PPV. Let's be honest, WWE loves its Wrestlemania history and this is an essential part of it.
