WWE: 10 Reasons Money In The Bank Match Should Return At Wrestlemania 30

8. Too Much Of A Good Thing

The problem with the Money in the Bank match having its own PPV, and two matches during the night, is that we're spoiled. There are two superstars then walking around with their own briefcase for a good few months and, well, it's a bit boring. What you need is one threat and, with the titles being merged as they are, one can only assume that this will happen this coming June. Having the match at Wrestlemania, and creating that one, serious title threat, is so much more of a big deal. With so many disparate plot threads flying around the WWE at any one time, having that one briefcase holder creates a good pivot to base a lot of things around. The teasing, the threats, the eventual cash-in. What happens now is that there are two men walking out onto the ramp and that air of something special is diluted. A ladder match at WrestleMania makes the match special again but, with buy-rates generally good for the June PPV, I guess we're not going to see that happen very soon. Just one match though would make the briefcase relevant again though.
